May 9, 2018 Knoxville, Tenn. — Charles Graves has recently joined Coldwell Banker Wallace & Wallace, REALTORS® (CBWW), as a full time real estate agent. He will be working out of the West Town office of Coldwell Banker Wallace & Wallace, REALTORS®, at 124 N. Winston Rd, Knoxville, TN 37919.
Charles Graves is a full-service Licensed REALTOR® and an active member of the Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS®, Tennessee Association of REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS®, and Multiple Listing Service (MLS).
Charles returned to Knoxville to pursue real estate and photography in 2016 after a career in consumer product development, marketing & merchandising, and brand licensing with such iconic brands as National Geographic, Better Homes & Gardens, and HGTV.
Having grown up from teens to adulthood in Memphis, he spent his earlier years in Kingston, Cleveland,
and Chattanooga as the son of a TVA engineer. Charles knows and appreciates the benefits and beauty that Knoxville and living in Tennessee brings to the quality of life.
Charles’ career has included moves through a number of states from the Mid-West to the East Coast culminating by choice in Knoxville. Having purchased and sold a dozen different homes of his own during the past three decades, he has had personal experience as a consumer. He knows and understands the emotions and anxiety involved and has empathy for the client that supersedes the usual agent/client relationship.
“I have literally been there and done that,” says Charles, “and I know firsthand the emotions that accompany a move, whether by choice or by circumstance.” That empathy provides his clients a true understanding of their particular situation and an appreciation for their individual needs whether new to our community or making that long needed move across town.
In his spare time, Charles is a photographer of Knoxville and the surrounding area, plays trumpet with the Scruffy City Orchestra among other groups, and loves to travel and discover Tennessee and other parts of our country with his wife Kathy.
