Nov. 10, 2021 Knoxville, Tenn. — Coldwell Banker Wallace, East Tennessee’s premier local real estate company, has added a new ancillary partner, Dogwood Insurance Group, to enhance the value it brings to its 450+ agents and clients in East Tennessee.

Dogwood Insurance, a subsidiary of The Insurance Group, will provide home insurance to clients of Coldwell Banker Wallace at every stage of the buying and selling process.

“We’re excited to embark on this new partnership with Dogwood Insurance,” said George Wallace, COO of Coldwell Banker Wallace. “From very specialized needs such as high end collections, farms and specialty properties to more traditional homeowners policies, Dogwood Insurance will provide our clients with a white glove experience.”

The Insurance Group, LLC has been insuring members of the East Tennessee community since the 1970s, and handles all types of policies, including commercial spaces, land, rentals, and properties with other complex needs.

As an independent insurance agent, Dogwood Insurance has contracts with multiple national and regional insurance carriers that allow the company to provide comprehensive, competitive insurance offerings to clients.

“We are set up to help clients with a full suite of real estate services to simplify the consumer experience, ” said Jim Wallace, CFO of Coldwell Banker Wallace. “We can take someone through the selling and buying process, the mortgage process, the title and closing process, and now, the insurance process.”

“We believe this partnership will be a huge value-add for our clients, both with the products being offered and the very high level of concierge service they will receive,” says Wallace.

Dogwood Insurance has the ability to create quotes in minutes, offering multiple options for clients to compare and choose from. Additional resources for real estate agents include loss reports and clue reports with the ability to generate extensive claim histories on properties for buyers and sellers.

Lauren Beck, a West Knox native and UT Martin grad, will serve as Dogwood Insurance Group’s Personal Risk Advisor. In this role, she will be the main point-of-contact and looks forward to building relationships with Coldwell Banker Wallace agents through this new venture.
