For Immediate Release
(KNOXVILLE, TENN. Feb. 15, 2019) – Coldwell Banker Wallace & Wallace, RealtorsⓇ is pleased to announce that Beth Stewart, Principal Broker of our West Town office, has been named “Managing Broker of the Year” by the Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS® (KAAR) for 2018.
The Managing Broker of the Year Award is a new award that honors a Designated REALTOR® who demonstrates exemplary business experience and accomplishments and a reputation for high professional competence.
Beth Stewart started her real estate career as an administrative assistant in 1991. In 1995, she became a licensed REALTOR, and joined Coldwell Banker Wallace & Wallace when the company acquired Volunteer Realty in 2000. Then with the encouragement and guidance of George Wallace, she became a Principal Broker at the end of 2004.
As Principal Broker of CBWW West Town, Stewart oversees 600-900 transactions each year, and provides leadership, guidance and mentorship to approximately 90 agents. Over the course of her career, Beth has trained hundreds of agents, both new and experienced.
“Beth brings so much passion and excitement to everything she does,” said George Wallace, COO of CBWW. “When faced with unexpected situations or new initiatives, she is typically first to embrace them, first to jump on board and be a cheerleader for the rest of our leadership team.”
“Something else that is unique about Beth is her servant’s heart,” said Claudia Stallings, VP of Residential Sales for CBWW. “As a manager who doesn’t participate in actively listing and selling herself, Beth makes herself available to her agents 100 percent of the time, answering the phone whenever they need guidance and serving their needs through each transaction.”
Beth graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2003, with plans of being an elementary school teacher. She channeled her passion for teaching into her real estate career, saying “I love to teach agents how to become successful and grow their businesses.”
She says she gets a great amount of fulfillment watching her agents grow in their confidence as they master their trade. She embraces the practice of treating others you want to be treated and always doing “what’s right.”
“It’s such an honor to be recognized by KAAR as Managing Broker of the Year for 2018,” said Beth Stewart. “I like to think of myself as both a Mentor and Coach to my agents, so it’s important to me that they know they have my support 24/7.”
When not working hard for her real estate agents, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and going to concerts. She is also an avid karaoke enthusiast.
