For Immediate Release
(KNOXVILLE, TENN. March 30, 2019) – Coldwell Banker Wallace is pleased to announce that Mindy Newman, an agent with our North Office, is the recipient of the Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS® (KAAR) “Good Neighbor Award” for 2020.
The Good Neighbor Award recognizes a KAAR Member who demonstrates exceptional community service within one of KAAR’s 12-county region.
Mindy was chosen by an impartial committee based on factors such as personal contributions (resources, volunteer hours, etc) to a local charity, non-profit organization, or community. KAAR will donate $500 to the Good Neighbor Award winner’s chosen charity or non-profit organization.
Mindy, who has been an agent with CBW since 2005, is dedicated to her community, volunteering through the HABIT program with her Golden Retriever Lilly. Mindy and Lilly are regular visitors to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, spending four hours each week sharing smiles and bringing cheer to approximately 4,000 people per year.
In addition to her full-time real estate career, Mindy is an avid runner and participates in both local and national races to raise funds for charities. She is especially active in supporting St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
“Mindy has helped numerous people over the past 16 years find a place to call home in our community,” said CBW North Principal Broker Jennifer Humphrey-Poveda. “She truly understands the importance of spending time with her family, and graciously gives back to our community and others through volunteering and it’s my honor and privilege to work with and be inspired by her!”
